These were thought up and designed by Jon Novembri in Santa Rosa, CA ; he built the 1st – this is a 2nd gen. unit using an faster, hotter, Athlon 3000+ CPU. Jon’s 1st gen unit is an ITX model @ 1ghz, with a cd rom built and and designed for running Linux and is a quiet, cool running dewalt-box. LoL. This design was for a mini wifi case running WinXP ; works great & stays cool with the fan speed controller. I decided to go without the cdr for my design, however I may incorporate a laptop drive into the lid in the future. Looks like a total hack job.. cuz it is. Enjoy www.valvefx.com
